Faulu Productions

Who are we?

Faulu production is community based, nonprofit organization, located at kakuma refugee camp in kenya. Our mission is to promote youth talents,to create a safe ,sustainable living that enables social change, and education, for marginalized communities. Empowerment for the vulnerable.

Agriculture

The Agriculture and Environment department at Faulu Productions promotes permaculture to increase food access and income for the Kakuma refugee community, reaching 61 beneficiaries and supporting 500 families to grow gardens. Plans include expanding gardens to more camps, requiring new wells and equipment. They also planted 2,800 trees to combat erosion and improve air quality, aiming to plant 30,000 in five years. Through community education and seed donations, the team fosters sustainable practices to create a healthier, self-sufficient environment.

Education

The Education Department at Faulu Productions offers tutoring in Math and English to 70 students, striving to improve their grades despite limited resources. Initially, they relied on church spaces, forcing classes outdoors in bad weather, with students using stones for seating. Thanks to donors, three classrooms were built, enabling improved learning conditions and an adult education program. Tahirih Preschool, now supports young children’s learning while allowing parents to work, bringing positive impact to families in the camp.

Mirco Loan

Our microloan program empowers Kakuma entrepreneurs by providing essential financial support, business training, and mentorship. Over 500,000 Ksh in loans have been disbursed to 200+ entrepreneurs, with loan sizes averaging 30,000-40,000 Ksh and a repayment rate of over 95%. Refugees gain hope, self-reliance, and economic growth, transforming lives and strengthening the community. Thanks to all donors for making this possible.
